My start in the Amplifier Business. Early years in this business, Hired by Leo Fender 1961, work under Leo in Amplifier Div. Worked for Paul Spranger in 1964 [As Project Electronic Engineer at Fender CBS R&D] 1967 [Director of Amplifier Division Rickenbacker ] until late 1970, Designed The Transonic Amplifier series used by Groups like Led Zeppelin, Jeff Beck, and Steppinwolf. |
Started Risson Amplifiers in 1972, built Quality Amplifiers through Mid 1980's, left to work in computer industry until now. I intend to build limited quantity of Tube amplifiers. These Tube Amplifiers will be of the highest quality, built in the USA ,with parts I have in storage. I have Transformers, Resistors, Capacitors Preamp Tubes, etc that were bought 20YRS to 30YRS ago mfg in USA or England at that time. Only a few parts will be newly purchased. Some amps such as the Marvell will be made with US and English parts with few exceptions. |
